*Butch Vig turns 54. Producer of such amazing works as Nirvana's "Nevermind" and Foo Fighters "Wasting Light" and drummer for the awesome band Garbage.

*Lee Mavers turns 49. He is the guitarist and vocalist for the now defunct English band, The La's. You may think you don't know that band, but I bet you do. Just listen to this track.



*The #1 single today in 1986 was "Glory of Love" by Peter Cetera from the Karate Kid II soundtrack. Man, I remember that summer and how popular that movie was and I loved this song.
