1969 – The Who recorded Pinball Wizard at Morgan Studio’s, London.

1975 – Born on this day, Wes Borland, guitar, Limp Bizkit.

1987 – Madonna went to No.1 on the US singles chart with ‘Open Your Heart’. (I think I played my vinyl "True Blue" record every day for a year. lol)

Madonna is still tops on my list of female solo performers. I loved "Open Your Heart" best on that album myself. I love how her style and voice "matured" over the years and still keeps us entertained.
